# Fees

### Type of fees

A swap can involve up to three cost components, depending on the rail:

| Component | Set by | Rate |
| --------------------- | ------------------------ | --------------- |
| **Network (gas) fee** | The blockchain network | Current gas fee |
| **Provider fee** | The third-party provider | 0.2% to 0.5% |
| **YiFi service fee** | Configured per partner | 0% to 0.4% |

Network fees are paid to the blockchain, not to YiFi or route provider. Provider spreads, bridge fees, and external aggregator fees are set by third parties and are outside YiFi's control. The YiFi service fee is the configurable partner-facing fee described below.

### What the partner earns

* **Revenue share.** Partners receive a **50% revenue share** on every swap attributed to them.
* **Configurable fee.** The partner-facing fee is configurable up to **0.2% (20 bps)** in absolute terms.
* **Attribution.** The share is routed to the partner that the swap is attributed to – by **referral ID** or **API key**. Without attribution, no partner share accrues.

The service fee splits between YiFi and the attributed partner according to the configured share. Partner balances, history, and withdrawals are managed in the Partner Portal.
